All Charging the high-performance lithium-ion batteries of the Youha breast pumps takes approximately 3 hours and the charge lasts 2–3 hours; or 4–6 pumping sessions between charges.

Yes, both the breast pumps and the Express Cups are closed-systems. This means breast milk won't come in contact with the motor unit, ensuring it stays clean and hygienic.

Yes, you can! If you forgot to charge your pump, simply plug it in and use while it is charging.

Youha breast shields come in several different sizes, and breast shield converters are available to accommodate most nipple sizes.

As many mommies-to-be are unsure of their exact size, The ONE Breast Pump comes with three breast shield sizes in the box (21mm ~ silicone converter, 24mm & 27mm).

The Youha Double Electric Breast Pump comes with 24mm breast shields and a silicone converter to size down to 21mm. Further options are sold separately too.

The INs wearable breast pump comes in size 24mm OR size 28mm. Youha or Melkii breast shield converters should be bought separately for this pump. 

Finding the best fit breast shield is important for both your comfort and effectiveness of the breast pump.

To find your recommended breast shield size can be quite tricky, this can be made easier with the Melkii Silicone Nipple Ruler OR you can measure it as described below. 

To measure: Stimulate your nipple so that it stands up and measure the width (diameter) of the nipple base (don't include the areola). To determine your recommended breast shield size, add 3-4 mm to your measurement if you haven’t started pumping or breastfeeding yet. If you are already breastfeeding or pumping, add 1-2 mm to your measurement. 

Pregnant mommies, consider sizing up a few millimeters as nipple size can get slightly larger following childbirth. Once you are pumping, if you have any discomfort or concerns about your size we recommend talking to a Lactation Consultant. 

The Express Cups come in two size options; 24 and 28. Each size comes with an extra convertor in the box, offering the ability to size down if needed. The 24 comes with a 22mm converter, while the 28 comes with a 26mm converter.

The One breast pump is such a versatile pump that can be used for either single or double-sided expressing, with either the bottle system or with The ONE Express cups. With it's variable pumping strength settings, you can maintain the same level of suction whether pumping single or double-sided. You can even save more time by breastfeeding your baby on the one side and expressing on the other.

You definitely can. The Youha range was designed to fit to your lifestyle. You can use it while doing housework, running after the toddlers, while commuting to work and back, moving around in the office, while having lunch with the girls...I think you get the picture! These portable pumps go with you. 

At and average of 40-45db, they are very quiet, and quieter still when covered by clothing. The only sound the pump makes is generated by the motor unit and the movement of the membranes. This is hardly noticeable when in a conversation, listening to music or watching television.

Maternity bras work great when using The INs or The ONE Express Cups. The soft fabric and extendable straps allow a little extra room for the pump or cups. Youha has a range of beautiful, soft and comfortable bras that work great with The INs and The ONE Express Cups, click here to view.

The ONE Express Cups are compatible with most pump brands and all Youha pumps. If your pump isn't listed below, please contact us to confirm compatibility.

The INs and The ONE Express Cups are both spill-proof and leak-proof! They are sealed securely against the breast shield and have a back-flow protector within the cup to stop the breast milk from entering the tubing/motor.  They can hold up to 240mL of milk.

High heat sterilization methods will most likely cause the silicone parts to wear out faster and you may even see the hard plastic pieces begin to warp. We recommend sterilizing them by submerging them in boiling water for 3 minutes. After each subsequent use, they can be washed by hand in warm soapy water. 

Wash the silicone and plastic parts of the pump or express cups in warm soapy water and rinse before sterilizing. Allow to dry completely before reassembly. The motor unit should only be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

Yes, you can. If yours don't fit right, we have adaptors for pumping directly into narrow-neck bottles.

We offer a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase (or your baby's birthdate, whichever comes later) on product faults. The warranty covers the pump motor only. Moisture damage to the motor unit is not covered by the warranty. Before using the Silicone Manual Breast Milk Collector, sterilize is by boiling for 5 min or using a steam sterilizer. The Silicone Manual Breast Milk Collector works by using suction to draw milk out of the breast. You simply place the breast shield part over your breast, aligning the opening of the collector with your nipple, squeeze the bulb to create suction and let it do the work.
